Central Aquatics Center is Hurst’s neighborhood-friendly community pool, offering a relaxed, family-first environment that’s especially welcoming for young children and early swimmers. Located at 715 Mary Drive, this long-standing venue has a loyal local following and is home to many of the city’s core aquatics programs, including learn-to-swim classes, lap-lane training, sensory-friendly swim times, and seasonal special events. This unrivaled sports facility consists of a 98,000 square-foot indoor sports area for hosting volleyball and basketball tournaments, dance, cheerleading, and other competitive indoor sports. The 70,000 square-foot hardwood floor arena is able to accommodate eight (8) full size basketball courts which can convert to sixteen (16) volleyball courts, as well as a dedicated cheerleading and gymnastics areas.
